EveryLibrary and the EveryLibrary Institute believes continuing training and education is critical to the development of a strong professional community. We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all our conference attendees, and we believe strongly in supporting the diversity of our profession. To that end, we have created these guidelines to ensure that we are providing a harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, appearance, or other group status. If, during our conference and on our platforms, you feel discriminated against, harassed or otherwise unsafe, please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected]. Your anonymity will be protected should you feel it is necessary to remain anonymous.

Therefore, these behaviors are specifically prohibited:

  • Harassment or intimidation based on race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, appearance, or other group status.
  • Sexual harassment or intimidation, including unwelcome sexual attention, stalking (physical or virtual), or unsolicited physical contact.
  • Threatening speakers or attendees either verbally or physically.
  • Other behaviors deemed inappropriate to the spirit of this event.
