In this session, we will review best practices for aligning your organization with these types of institutions; prospect and fundraising landscape assessments; the components to a strong proposal template; and how to set your library up for success through strong relationship-building tactics.

Sade Dozan is a witness to the power collective voice has in shifting culture and policies surrounding under-resourced communities and marginalized groups. She specializes in small (under 5M budget) community-based nonprofit and coalition fundraising strategies. Through her decade-long career in organization resource-building and nonprofit development, she has worked to secure funds for inter-generational campaigns, youth, and literacy development programs, health and community initiatives, as well as economic development pipelines. She brings with her a wealth of project management experience, institutional and donor relations, and fundraising systems development.
